Functional Pistol
This class is designed for newer handgun owners who have had only minimal exposure to training or for the shooter who is need of a tune up due to time out of training.
Our Functional Pistol course is a strong fundamental class providing shooters with the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary to confidently and safely handle their firearm. The class is conducted solely on the range which we feel is the best environment for learning. The range is the classroom.
By the end of this course you will be able to understand and demonstrate solid pistol handling and safety. You will accomplish more than you think in your proficiencies with our positively motivated instructors coaching you along the way.
Th course environment is created for learning in a NO EGO, personable way designed for your confidence building and establishing a strong foundation to your shooting success and enjoying it the entire time you are with us!

- Serviceable midsize to full-size Pistol (semi auto or revolver)
- 2-3 magazines (speed loaders are helpful)
- 150 - 250rds of ammunition
- Ear and Eye protection
- Weather appropriate clothing, brimmed hat and sunscreen
- A proper strongside hip holster & sturdy belt
- Opposing Magazine Pouches
- 1 Gallon of Water & Snacks
